Well that’s a problem.

…And no questions about the abysmal offensive line play and/or philosophy.

Yep. Time to really lower our expectations as nothing of any significance is going to change. Get ready for more of the "same ol' same ol'" and be happy we'll get invited to the Cheez-It Bowl.

He just keeps digging a deeper hole for himself with how he's handling the Nuss situation.

BK: Details of the passing game have to be better. Everyone wants to talk about the running game and I get it, but we have to emphasize the positives of this team - skill players and the QB.

This tells me everything I need to know about how next week's game...

He fails to realize that everyone knows we cant run the ball effectively... which results in us constantly playing behind the chains and teams only rushing 3 or 4 while dropping 7 or 8 in coverage with 2 safeties high.

One doesn't work without the other if plans on getting to the playoffs.

Did he really say that? He thinks Nussmeier's play thus far is a positive? Wow, that's some Les Miles level delusion/dissembling.

So nothing specific about the terrible o-line, non existent run game, 2 1st half running back carries?

It's hilarious how he keeps stressing the fact that we need to play "complimentary football" then talks about how his team that is ranked 119th in the country in rushing YPG needs to be better at passing the football.

Early on he had an ab strain, not a core injury, and it's been slow to heal.

Our training staff, physicians have treated him with medication. We knew coming to this bye week this would be the time not to be pushing him.

Then why the frick was he playing against Southeastern, much less, running QB sneaks? Holy shite this guy sucks.

Read between the lines. BK appears to be saying that he obviously knows we can't run the ball and he doesn't see it improving enough to change things. Therefore, the teams time would be better spent focusing on the passing game which not only has room to improve but is a realistic goal.

I'm in no way defending him, just making an observation as to how I comprehended him.

Long story short, he wants to focus on areas he truly believe they can improve. He feels GN will perform well-enough after the bye week and the passing game will subsequently improve. He sees the areas that are horrendous but doesn't feel any good will come from harping on the deficiencies by stating the obvious.
