Looking for the best long lasting feeder tired of going out and throwing out corn every time I hunt.

You looking for a gravity, or spin feeder?

Been really happy with these. Hogs can't reach the corn/protein and comes with long rebar stakes so they can't turn them over.

Academy has Moultrie feeders which you can operate from your phone, I put one out this year and have been pleased so far.
I think it was $125.00 + a 6 V battery, holds 250 lbs.
Good thing is you can see that it's working

Moultrie makes good products but just know you have to pay a monthly service to be able to connect to your feeder for this feature. Not sure what the cost is but I know there is one.

What’s your budget?
Good feeders ain’t cheap & cheap feeders ain’t good.

This is what I have been using for years.

Pro. easy to fill from tailgate of truck
con. You don't have a clear shoot when a deer is standing behind it, but if you wait they will move around to give you a shot.

I am not trying to break the bank but obviously spending more for it to last longer will be cheaper than buying 5 shite ones.

The best deer feeder is a food plot, not a random pile of corn in the middle of the woods

TSC
Mounts on t post or tree with straps.
If you go with plastic barrel feeder, then place a metal water heater pan upside down on it with brick on top of it. Otherwise squirrels will chew holes in the lid and sides of plastic barrel.

Go with gravity geeders over broadcast. Lots of wasted feed using broadcast. Rain, birds, squirrels, coons all eating feed on the ground. Most of whst's thrown is gone when the deer show up.

I have 1000% confidence in anything made by Texas Wildlife supply and All Season Feeders.
Anything you pick in that group is going to last and perform

I prefer spinners with timers. We tried gravity feeders. Just a lot of pics of an all night buffet…

I’m moving to directional spin feeders ratchet strapped to a tree about 4’ up. Gravity only get pictures at night and deal with hogs coming in.

All Season
If you have bears don't go with lighter than 600lbs and drive minimum of 3 T post to ratchet strap them in place or they will push them over and pull off the lid. I run mine year round but quit filling after the season. Solar panel keeps battery charged and nothing locks up from sitting dormant all summer.
ETA if you don't have bears you can get an economical version from Buc-ees

I've ran the cheap Moltiries from Academy for over 10 years, still work great. I've replaced the 6 v broadcasting motors on them to the ones with AA batterie.

Did the same, if you go cheap plastic, Moultrie is what I go with. Have a few all welds, but are pricey, but bulletproof. With the Moultrie’s, if a coon or squirrel chews a hole, you can always buy the parts separately, so the whole feeder isn’t trashed, and I use the small motors that take 4 AA batteries

Same. I've had to replace a few timers over the years, but over all have been happy with the Moultries.

Lamco 600lb stand and fill.
I’ll never buy anything but stand and fill at this point.
