If Nuss is injured why would he play vs SLU?

Explain that? It makes ZERO sense for an injured player to play that game. It’s actually insane if he is hurt that he would play that game

This whole saga is really beyond me. I honestly have no clue what to think is true

He does look injured but why in the hell would an injured QB play vs SLU? I just can’t rectify that in my head

If he would have sat the SLU game and the rumors are true then he could have applied for a medical RS.

Trying to pad the numbers for the Heisman.

He's not injured, he is just an below average QB.

He wont get drafted in the first 3 rounds at this rate

The fact that he's playing full time makes me question the injury angle.

From a drive-by perspective, his throws do not appear the same. The example of his across the body 45 yard throw to Jaray in the '22 SECCG - I can't imagine Nuss making that throw now.
As for why he played vs SLU, IDK. If the injury is one that limits his play but one that won't require surgery until after the season, I guess he might as well play.
Regardless, why we don't utilize MVB's skill set is a mystery.

To be fair, he should have sat against Tech. He aggravated something earlier in the week and he regressed. From what I was told he was nearly 100% for Clemson. Which is why he didn't show a lot of signs that game. But either late in the game or sometime in the week for Tech he aggravated something and regressed. He took a few days off and then wanted to play and proceeded to look pretty bad.
Kelly should have sat him against Tech and South Eastern. Giving the choice to the player is ALWAYS the wrong thing in meaningless games. Because now he looks like a shell of himself and he literally grimaces every time he throws the football down field or down the sideline.

Maybe he's injured. Maybe he's not. Even if he is, an injury does not explain bad decision making and poor mechanics (repeatedly throwing off his back foot) that have been evident throughout his time at LSU. I am honestly ready to move on to Van Buren. At least his ability to scramble can help with our pathetic OL.

Oh I agree. It makes no difference if he is or isn’t for lsu purposes

Kelly wanted to run up the score and get Nuss some good stats for his Heisman campaign.
Posted on 9/29/25 at 4:30 pm to lsupride87
Maybe he didn't tell coach's he's really injured

$unk NIL money, $unk Heisman Campaign, and still clinging to NFL draft stock pump, and originated from camp injury months ago with mum's the word on it for months, so admitting he can't throw now means all that other stuff is a big miss and some real deception, and they can't do that, so CBK looks at you and said you're spoiled for believing your lying eyes that anything is wrong and Bud Light guy tries to blame the OL and then sort of say its just a secondary issue as a shill.
Another week of this and the WR room will solve it with a players only meeting because the drop off in performance (avg 9 pts per half against D1 opponents and SEC losses) versus what they were promised (4000yd passing year) to come here is a complete reversal.

You know they have team physicians, right? If Nuss is trying to hide something, then that alone will tank his "draft" status. The whole situation stinks.

YALL JUST FIGURING THAT OUT HE IS AN IDIOT?
Posted on 9/29/25 at 4:43 pm to lsupride87
People forget that we have team doctors and trainers and the liability would be insane if they said he’s too hurt to play and they played him anyway
