No tackles behind the los, very little effort blitzing, did OM or LSU scheme him out of the game. 4 tackles from a star position is practically a non game. I am open for a reasonable excuse, but his lack of presence in the game was incomprehensible.

We have successfully schemed him out again, despite seeing what he could do weeks 1-4.

I will never understand this approach. We did this last year too.

Just when you think Baker is the guy, this past game just blows your mind. Sat back in a zone and just let a D2 QB have his way. That guy wanted to throw multiple INTs. Had we put pressure on him like we did Lagway, he likely would have. Nope. We rushed four, allowed huge running lanes up the middle, then couldn't cover basically the same four plays in the last quarter. Total embarassment.

Defense could've won this game for LSU but it wasn't the best job from Baker. Honestly, he seems to struggle against any running QB with a pulse it feels like. SC's QB going to give LSU fits if they don't figure it out.

I saw several instances where Perkins was in fact spying, but Ole Miss had a great plan on the designed QB runs where one OL would peel off and block him.

So does OM have an offensive scheme that FORCES him into coverage? Or was it our idea to drop him back?

Are you fricking kidding me with this shite? The defense held a lane Kiffin team to 24 points. The defense did win LSU this football game. Too bad the offense is run by complete incompetence.

I said the same thing during the game.
Perkins best film came from him spying a dual threat qb.
