There has to be some under the table money exchange or handshake deal between BK and the Nuss team that prevents BK from benching him.

His play was so bad Saturday this could be the only logical answer.

Nuss having same agent as Kelly is not great.

Kelly seemed to have no problem rotating in qbs at ND. I think the year before he came here he was playing as many as 3

Maybe MVB isn't that good... I remember a time when this site exploded over benching Daniels for the great prolific Nuss.

With that being said, still believe he will give us a better chance than what we are currently getting out of Nuss.

Maybe dirty pictures like JJ had on Miles.

Well - if this type of play continues Kelly will need his agent to get busy.

I think MVB's wheels alone would have warranted him getting some designed plays on Saturday. Every single person watching the game could see that if our QB had any threat of running, it would have opened things up immensely. Combine this with the fact that Nuss is obviously not 100%, it just makes this lack of coaching that much more infuriating

It's simple. Nuss is hurt, but the staff still thinks he is the best option. Case closed.

No argument out of me, Even his arm strength looks like a guy off the street right now. The fact Ole Miss won by 5 with an anemic offense is telling to me, a top 10 opponent in their house.

Nuss is the one with the most to lose right now, and he's losing it. I don't know how an NFL scout could see what he's doing and think he's worthy of even a 5th round pick.

To me it would have been in his best interest to make a potential injury public. That’s if there is one. I have no idea, but he doesn’t look right and playing this way without reasoning is concerning.

A 5th year QB. I just hope we aren’t told after the season he was playing hurt, because that is potentially limiting the team.

Nuss has gone from 1st round to free agent. The plan you describe has backfired.

If they think that an immobile quarterback who can’t throw is our best option then all of our offensive coaches need to get fired.

If this is the injury that leaked during fall practice why didn't he take a medical redshirt?

What happened to "we need to do whatever it takes to win football games."
That may involve giving someone who is 100% a chance. I don't see how it would hurt to give Van Buren a few series

If you think that Nuss is completely healthy, this might make sense, but every game he plays like this drops his draft stock. It would make more sense for them to have him bench Nuss for an injury, real or fictitious, to weigh his draft stock on his previous season, interviews, and combine workouts, which are likely to be very good.

Back up was hitting receivers like the old ms qb, coverage was really tight but a low lead throw is impossible to defend! Hell Yeah he should have come in!
