Paraphrasing some but basically said "Running struggles are an offensive staff problem and other coaches mentioned it to him which is why he loved betting / picking Ole Miss vs LSU was that their defensive staff was on a different class than our offensive staff."

Joe Sloan is as bad on offense as Matt House was on defense. Both were terrible hires.

We basically have no offensive staff. That’s what it looks like.

I've never had a problem with him. One of the shows I personally like to watch more whenever I wanna get research for my pickem / pool picks.

If Pete Golding is on a different level (in a positive sense) than Joe Sloan, Sloan is 100x worse than any of us think. Golding is absolutely trash.

Nuss is either hurt or digressing. Bad throws. Erratic throws. Weaker arm. Won’t run. Doesn’t see the field to even try to run. Inaccurate. VB deserves a chance.

Sloan is by no means a good OC, but Nuss is mainly liable for yesterday’s performance. There were guys constantly open even against 8 in coverage and Nuss would either under throw, over throw, or throw to someone who was triple covered all game long. He was genuinely terrible. MVB wins that game yesterday for you

These things aren’t mutually exclusive.

They are both terrible.

Obviously. But what I am saying MVB yesterday with the same exact play calling wins is enough to win you the game.

if Nuss looks like dog shite with Sloan as the guy preparing him all preseason and the week before a game, what makes you think Sloan can prepare anyone to look good?

The players are a direct reflection of how their coaches have prepared them, even in decision making. Sloan prepared Nuss to make those shitty decisions.

If BK9.9 manages to survive the 25 season without a CFP appearance, he'll fire the entire Offensive Staff to save face.

All Gone, including Frank.

We don't need "Used Car Salesman Great Recruiters" any longer. Just give all the HS recruits and Portal Transfers big bags of $$$$$$$ and they'll come. Hire "Coaches that can effectively coach their Position" on Offense..

They're there (THEY ARE THERE) already on Defense.........

At least Matt House had a solid defense in 2022. He had to go but look at the difference from when our DB transfers panned out his first year vs when they didn't in 2023.

Sloan's offense has been pretty uninspiring for both years now.

Because he’s obviously injured. The gun slinger can’t sling it 20 yards downfield anymore. That’s not a coaching problem that’s an injury problem. Now Joe Sloan is awful but there were at least 2 more touchdowns left on the field because Nuss couldn’t get the ball there. That’s enough to win this game. Nuss’s inability to throw the ball was the difference in the game. No matter how bad anything else sucked the plays were there for him to make and he wasn’t capable of doing it.

As bad as the Oline is, a good coordinator could design runs that would work. I can guarantee you that Kiffen could take our offense and produce more than 50 rushing yard against our defense!
