My son had the chance to play a few songs at Live After 5 this past Friday. He is 9 and has been playing guitar since last summer as well as drums for about 4 years. It was an awesome experience for him and I just wanted to share and brag. I know CSB

Whatever you do, keep fostering that talent. There is something there that is not to be ignored. Some people just have music in them.
This isn’t some kid on YouTube where you can edit and produce the crap out of it. He’s out there playing and singing in front of a live crowd.
I am beyond impressed! Tell him we love him, thank you, and keep feeding it. Music needs kids coming up like this.
And get him an electric!

Oh he is into electric already. Drums as well and is better at drums.
Thanks everyone for all of the encouraging comments. He truly loves playing music and being on stage. He will be playing next weekend at Federales Fest and we are looking forward to that opportunity!

If you are ever near Birmingham on a weekend, let me know and if we are playing somewhere, we’ll get him up on stage!

War Eagle Pete, absolutely will reach out next time we are up that way! He ended up on stage in Nashville a few times just by the band seeing him going along in the crowd. I need to upload those to YouTube as well. Then we were in Blue Ridge GA this summer and he did an open mic night then got invited to join the host the following night at a little restaurant he was playing at. It has definitely become an adventure
