How can that even be in the 2-point play catalogue?

Answer me this. How awful was Nuss on thay drive? Pretty lucky we even got down there right? The play before the TD was almost picked.

Ole Miss has the 102nd ranked rushing defense. If we can't get 2 yards agaisnt that defense we didnt deserve to win.

And we didnt.

Watch #71 and #10 try to block on that play. It's insane how bad some of these guys are.

They probably thought ole miss was thinking they wouldn’t dare run the ball .

The problem I have with this video is yes 71 and 10 were atrocious on this play. But it’s a play that shouldn’t even be called in the first place.

So what is the real problem?
Is it the call?
Is it the lack of execution?
This is the reason coaches are so lucky. They can always point to the problem of a lack of execution—and they’re right.
But that play call was the biggest problem, and it’s so easy to blame the execution (if you’re Kelly) that you don’t even pay attention to the horrendous play call.

So we’ll have that horrendous play calling to look forward to for another year or five because ‘Kelly has to coach them better’ to shore up the lack of execution.

Both things, play calls and execution, can simultaneously suck. In fact, you just witnessed it. That’s how we go nowhere. And we did

I don’t disagree with you at all. I think it was a shite play call as well. I just also think our OL sucks as well. That play is embarrassing on all fronts.

Every time we motion someone into the backfield we run it. Every single time so it’s not surprising that ole miss blew that play up.

At this point the bigger question needs to be answered.
When a coach repeatedly says “we need to coach better” and nothing changes, the AD needs to say “we need to hire better” and fire his arse.

One thing I will never understand is how sucking at your job doesn’t qualify for “cause for termination”.

I’ll never understand how a coach can be terrible, and still get his buy out if fired for being terrible.
The law is wack.

We get it - on every thread you comment how bad Nuss is in your mind.

Be it a middle school or local Y level football IQ, just give it a rest.

You’re embarrassing.

If LSU had literally anybody else to go to off the bench, #71s arse would be on the bench and never leave it after that pathetic display.

Shite man they block better than that on college football 26 for me and that game has some laughable blocking

Pretty much sums up our OC’s lack of imagination and ineptitude.

Go watch UGA's playcall when they went for it instead of kicking the FG to tie the game. BK doesn't have a monopoly on terrible decisions.

Sharp is tightend that half arse tried to block

That guy is terrible…scared of contact

Something rare to see with a tightend…drops passes when hit

The play calling in this entire game was suspicious to me. Feels like there are reasons for it that's not being told. Any ideas on what's going on?

When you see other teams offenses run so smoothly and lsu’s is a dumpster fire it’s pretty maddening

People making fun of Alabama for losing to Florida state should be scared to death of what Alabama is going to do to lsu if the offense can’t move the ball.
