I hate when BK says “in this league”

“We didnt play complementary football, which you gotta do to win in this league”.
Yea, we know. We’ve been here all our lives so we’re familiar, Brian. Why don’t you catch up?
He’s in year 4 and he’s still talking about what we gotta do “in this league” and maybe it’s just me, but it comes across as someone who still feels like a newbie and someone who still feels like he’s learning but wants to sound like he knows it all.
Just an observation of something that has bugged me for two years now.

This is such a ridiculous thing to melt about. Every coach says that about this league, you just don't listen to their press conferences.
It may be time to go outside And get some fresh air if you're complaining about things like this.

The problem is he talks about it as if we don’t already know this and he’s trying to teach us, which is very arrogant. Hell, he’s already told us we’re spoiled. frick him. I’m tired of words, I want action.

Because our offensive stats look so much better in the full FCS context & we had absolutely no trouble across the O-line against LaTech or SELU.

Yes, I think he came here because he wants a title attached to his legacy and he thought he could do it with LSU.
But he also got a shitload of money and is fine just cashing checks if that's all that comes of this.

It's almost like he's a coach, and coaches usually speak a certain way. So often a phrase was even coined for it.

He has coached at lower level programs. Maybe he's just learning himself that you can't take weeks off.
