I don’t blame him for the loss. He’s just not good, he has regressed from decent to bad. It’s the coaches fault for not having a legit SEC caliber QB

I would bench him

BK is too embarrassed to bench a starting QB.

Correct. The fault is with the coach that recruited him

It is 100% the O-Line's fault.

OL is the problem, not Nuss.

Nuss isn't as great as we thought he was, but every throw is rushed. . .with only 3-men. That means EIGHT are in coverage

Combine that with LSU's inability to run the ball, and you are expecting a lot from Nuss.

He would need to be Tom Brady to do what you are wanting him to do with this OL

If Nuss' accuracy is off and the OL is only average we're screwed.

We need a mobile QB.

he was throwing duds into triple coverage even when he had all the time in the world. he is just a mediocre to poor quarterback playing in a league that demand superior talent.

bench him.

We aren’t asking him to put up 52 points a game.

We are asking him to make decent down field throws when not under pressure. That will lead to 30pts a game which will get us in the playoffs. He can’t do that, and we can’t eclipse 20pts against p4 teams.

Next man up

I don’t understand why these highly paid coaches just don’t have the balls to change QB when the starting QB consistently missing throws and throwing into triple coverages. We were up 7-3 and about to score than Nuss decides to throw into triple coverage for No reason & gets intercepted! That’s a big momentum swing??

That's the rub, though

We are asking him to make throws downfield with 8 men in coverage, while under pressure

The throws where it looks like he wasn't pressured, is because he is rushing the throw due to having been under constant pressure

The immediate both hands to the side of his head when the ball is intercepted is what kills me, just like he did a few times against aTm last year. His processing of coverage and where to go with the football is about a half click slow, and that’s all it takes.

It wouldn’t be as bad if he was out there acting like one of the leaders of the team. Dude sucks on the sidelines too.

So him throwing over 4k last year was a fluke? For the 100th time…he’s hurt and can’t make the throws right now. Jesus Christ.

Coaches are paid huge bucks to make tough decisions like this. Time for this staff to earn their keep.

I agree he makes poor decisions and has not improved any since last year….He is just an average QB with a HORRIBLE OL.

The Oline isn’t great, but it’s no worse than the one JD5 had to deal with and he made it work. Why? Because he knew when to tuck it and run. At this point I think Nuss has an irrational fear of the line of scrimmage. He avoids it like the plague
