Yes it does. It exposed our weak OL and incompetent play-calling. 6 Blockers struggling against 3 man rush and a questionable 2-point conversion play says all you need to know about our season.

Based on what I saw last night in that OM game, I don't see how LSU can escape a brutal thrashing at the hands of Bama.
They say football games are won in the trenches by huge men. Unfortunately LSU's OL leaves a lot to be desired.

It’s not the loss defining LSU. It’s the fact it continued to show they have an incompetent offense and probably one of the worst in P5.
The defense is not what many claimed it was, and it’s not good enough to beat teams with a really good offense and mobile QB on their own.

Here’s the problem. We are a good program but we are investing and expect a great program. There’s no reason for LSU not to have a OC who can draw up plays, have an identity, trust the culture and execute. I believe we have that on defense but I don’t think I’ve seen a game called comparable to bama, Georgia, Penn state or Oregon. Watched those games last night. Once we figure out who we are and play to our strengths, we may be able to move towards consistent elite program.
