Kelly brought in Alex Adkins because he knew the offensive line had issues. Having two guys to work with the offensive line still is not working. Kelly is going to have to make cuts in order to actually protect his job.

It has been 3.5 years of subpar to bad offensive line play. Two of those years were covered up with a Heisman trophy winning quarterback.

The deal is that you know that Brad Davis is a dead man walking as far as it goes to coaching on this staff. It has to be obvious for anyone paying attention. Old saying that I heard from a good leader was that you make a personnel move today if you know the decision is made. You don't wait till tomorrow or the next day or the next.

Bump up Adkins for the rest of the season and start your search now.

Sorry but the data just doesn't agree with you that we have an OL issue.

I hate to say it because I know it seems like it.

I mean, how long have we had issues vs known OL talent on the team?

Genuine question: if we can’t block three with five, how is that not indicative of an OL issue? What am I missing?

LINK
Currently #109 in rushing offense this season

LINK
#104 rush offense last season

LINK
Season 1: #43 rush offense ranking 8th in the SEC with JD5 accounting for over 1/3 of your rushing offense (63.2 ypg of team 180.3 ypg)

2023 was the awesome Heisman Season
LINK
National #14 at 196.3 YPG
Your QB had nearly half of your rush offense at 94.5 YPG
LINK

So now I've shown you my statistics that the LSU rush offense has been one of the worst in college football without a generational quarterback. Your turn.

What data are you referring to?

The data says: OLINE sucks

The OL is just not getting it done. Since you cannot fire the players, the coaching has to change. For whatever reason, between the OL coaching and the playing calling we cannot run the simplest plays or pick up the most basic DL stunts. Watching our OL play against La Tech looked like a bunch of guys who are just big, but never played football before. Bama, A&M, and OU are going to destroy this OL.

Hi Coach Davis. The mental gymnastics required to say something this stupid is impressive. Please, see yourself out, if you’re able to do that alone after such a dumbass comment

We have the worst run game in the entire FBS. Our Oline is pathetic, no way our talent is as bad as they play. Need to fire Sloan and Davis

Just imagine how bad they'd be if LSU had hired Kevin Mawae. Thank God for all that O-line coaching experience we have

Brad was kept on bored because he is a tremendous recruiter, but recruiting is dead. X and Os coaches are what you need. Front office staff will find and pay the players.

Can Davis leave with Kelly? That would be great

OL and TE need a reboot.

The O can’t function without this being fixed.

People blame Sloan, but he is managing points in spite of all the issues and BK being conservative.

I’m sorry, what? Have you watched any LSU games over the last two years?

Preach I've been saying this for years. JD5 scrambling making plays with his feet inflated our rushing yard stats. OLINE HAS BEEN terrible.
