I read your comment before I listened, and figured it was just a thick "sout-side Shi-Kaa-gaa accent" that would be tough for Southerners to understand. But I couldn't make it out either!

I catch a few minutes of this (all I can take) on the local Chicago broadcast news each day (only because we are retired old farts, watch Jeopardy, and the 4:00 local news comes on after). Of course most of it is showing the ICE shooting pepper bullets (?) and tear gas, or pushing/throwing someone to the ground. They don't show much of the protestors being violent and obstructing the Federal officers.
Today, surprisingly, they actually gave 15 seconds to a counter-protestor, talking about how we need to let ICE do their job (such a radical idea!).
