Any winnings the celebrity earns goes to their charity of choice, but what they don’t tell you is that the celebrity gets an appearance fee from that charity that usually far exceeds any of their winnings.

They get an appearance few from the wheel of fortune, which is standard union rates, so something like $1000 per hour.
