Based on Trump’s last Truth Social post. Says the Ukraine war will likely be over in a year because Ukraine will have no one left to fight. Also says 1.5 million more Ukrainians will die next year.

If I am correct, aren't the Ukrainians fighting to protect their debauchery?

Protect their grift. It's a key location where Western money can get cleaned up and fund off the books intelligence operations.

Probably why he minimizes his time in Ukraine. According to Grok:

quote:

Since the invasion began (February 24, 2022), Zelenskyy has made approximately 47 foreign trips over 3.5+ years (about 1,300 days). This averages to roughly 13-14 trips per year, with most lasting 2-5 days each.

Why are you citing a pedophile for anything, much less a Kremlin-loving pedophile?

I think Z legitimately wanted peace when he took office, then these guys and the State Department threatened him.

Because things like the treaty between the United States and Russia aimed at minimizing nuclear weapons (the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START)) are being allowed to expire on February 5, 2026 which is a major negative data point between U.S. and Russian relations.

I may be wrong, the proof will be if we start sending billions of US taxpayer money to Ukraine again, but I took Trump’s post of let Ukraine fight on as him stepping back and watching more of the slaughter in a Machiavellian way.

There are so many things that are destructive for Ukraine.

First, they’re losing more ground every day. Second, Europe is not going to stop buying Russian oil. Third, Europe is not going to join us in pressuring India or China with tariffs for supporting Russia. Fourth, India is not going to bow to us but rather will continue to politely tell us to frick off. Fifth, Europe is not going to pony up with either the money or the weapons. Sixth, Russia’s economy is not collapsing anytime soon.

So, we will revisit this again in the spring when Ukraine has lost even more land and even more people in a fruitless and prideful endeavor to “defeat Russia on the battlefield.” Zelensky has an interest in keeping this war going as long as possible to preserve his own status. Once it’s over, he’s probably done as he’s incredibly unpopular in Ukraine and his Azov Nazis will have no use for him once the money and weapons dry up.

So I think Trump might be saying, okay let’s do it your way and he’s going to sit back and eat some popcorn.

The real test will be if Democrats and Bad Republicans try to pass another multi tens of billions of US taxpayer dollars package again and what Trump does. Hopefully we give nothing. Let Europe buy everything from us to give to the Ukrainians.

It was supposed to end on January 21, 2025 too.

Well, if you can't get peace through talking you get it through attrition. Scott says the timeline is about one year on the attrition timeline.

Zelenskyy doesn’t want it to end. He is asking for every bit of land back including land that was taken before he was in office. This has turned into a cash cow for him. I think Putin would end it, but only if he gets to keep a significant amount of land they have taken. Until Zelensky is out of this it will continue.

Is it too much to ask a foreign policy expert to put on a collared shirt? Very sloppy.

Seventh, when Russia is making steady and positive gains what incentive does Putin have to stop?

I agree. Trump is like, "I guess they will have to learn the hard way".

Hopefully after these bad actors are out of the way there is a chance we can normalize relations with Russia.
