Is it just me or did the band stop playing this? The past three games I have been to, they have not played it.

B*tch I’m from Louisiana, I’m from Louisiana.

There is no time for this.
All of the down time is taken up by piped in noise pollution.

Exactly. They did away with all the traditional band songs by bringing in the light show and DJ. Even between plays. I think it sucks, and I'm not even a Boomer

even millennials and GEN X got to hear plenty band through the years.
sounds like they ruined the gameday experience now. sad.
The band is a HUGE part of what made college ball so much netter than NFL.
people want to hear hey fightin tigers, fight for LSU, tiger rag,
what next? cancel the drum cadence entering the stadium?
The DJ shite is trash and for NFL crap.

I like that song. They need to ditch the piped in music and DJ.

I still can’t believe Tiger stadium has a freakin night club DJ at every game. It’s clownish.

All yall do is Complain-A-Whine on the Rant.
Call Baton Rouge attorney Jill Craft. She'll help out with the problem. (225- 663-2312)

I wonder what the "Kingfish" Huey P. would have to say about this? He was a big promoter and supporter of the band way back when and laid the groundwork to make them the great band they are today.

I get tradition, however a 17 year old recruit from Florida that’s on a visit would rather light shows and DJ than “hey fighting tigers” and band music.

Nah - if NIL is there, he’s good

DJs and hip-hop have destroyed real music and now they are destroying college football traditions...it is a disease of negativity!

17 year old recruit from Florida
—LSU has 100+ years of 17 year old recruits who heard Hey Fightin’ Tigers and didn’t run away

Yeah and LSU was very good at football before the 2000’s…

Not exactly. The tune for the song, which is licensed to LSU, is originally the tune for a song titled "Hey, Look Me Over!" from the 1960 Broadway musical Wildcat, starring Lucille Ball.

They play “Hey Fightin Tigers” after every halftime show as they exit the field.

I agree the piped in music is terrible, but…
Do we really need to be this dramatic about it??
We all bitch and complain about various stuff, and sometimes rightfully so, but let’s not get carried away. Death Valley is still a special place at night when the tigers are rolling
