Has to be the end for Russell Wilson unless he wants to be a backup and string his career along for 3-4 more years.

Dart is going to have a great run for 5-6 weeks and then fall off a cliff.

Doubtful.

LA Chargers
@ New Orleans
Eagles
@ Denver
@ Eagles
49ers

Outside of NO they will be facing some of the best defenses in the league for the next 6 weeks.

They should wait until the Saints weekend to get Dart some confidence.

He’s going to be difficult to gameplan for regardless of defense for the first few weeks with his dual threat ability. And the Saints and Niners are dead. he will ball out in at least one game vs the Eagles. He will play well vs the Chargers too. Everyone will buy into the hype.

It’s much more likely he’s bad in every game, even New Orleans, than what you said will happen.

He doesn’t have the mental make up long term for the NFL though. I’ll never forget that absolute meltdown vs Florida last season when the pressure is on he folds

One bad example in his entire career. He also got injured against Georgia then came back in and led the team to a win.

He will be fine.

Re Russell Wilson:
a hint from last spring that he was playing to the NYC non-football crowds:
he and his wife showed up dressed to the hilt at Anna Wintour's Metropolitan Gala.

The 49ers will be playing practice squad guys by then due to injuries.

As a fan that is just fact the last 7 years minus 1 or 2.

I’m normally all for letting Rookie QBs sit for as long as possible, but it’s different here. I’ve watched every snap Jaxson Dart has taken in college and in the NFL preseason, and I fully believe he is better than the current version of Russell Wilson
