Paul Freeman is the reason MMPR: The Movie was so much fun. He chewed the frick out of that scenery and loved every second of it.

I was a little too old for MMPR, but I do play Fortnite and I know that millennials that play are losing their shite over its integration into this season.

I’m gonna die on this hill
The ending with Dreams by Van Halen playing is like a top 50 movie ending of all time
What a banger

Watched this on Youtube over the summer to show my kids and yeah it doesn't age well
But that nostalgia
Plus I wasn't aware of Van Halen as a 7yo, so seeing Dreams at the ending was a good moment

That movie actually had some decent songs, Red Hot Chili Peppers playing while they skydive

Aside from the expected cringe writing and acting (this is a kids movie, not an Oscar potential) my only critique was the whiny disappointment the black ranger had being a frog
Not to say i wouldn't be upset about that also. I am just criticizing the writing of that. I'd be interested to see what animal ideas did NOT make the cut for that role.

Parents thought he was too scary when he came on the scene

Those animal zords looked like total shite, I do remember McDonald’s having a bad arse happy meal tie in with the movie
And since we’re here discussing the OG power rangers
Green Ranger>>>>>>White

At least it was the same actor. Of all the Rangers he and Kimberly needed to be permanent for those roles.

That green dragon was a tough toy to get, parents had to do some back alley deal to get mine for Christmas

Remember when that movie opened with the MMPR skydiving with snowboards for presumably no other reason that it was the 90s and that was more x-treme?

I liked how they let the kids dad do it with no experience whatsoever

Hollywood would be in a much better place if they started entertaining again. Every writer and director now thinks they're going to make some masterpiece and takes their crappy movie too seriously.
It's ok to put actual humor in an action movie. Not dark humor...just slapstick comedy or witty one-liners. In this case, especially for a movie made for children.

Chewed TF out of the scenery as Belloq too. And a fly.

Back when McDonalds gave away Power Ranger shite in Happy Meals in conjunction with the movie I was asking my parents to get me food there every other day and I collected the thing they hold up when they announce their dinosaur and every character's token. It's probably in a box in their attic somewhere.
