Can someone explain it to me? This looks like easy money.

Chambliss has only played Arkansas and Tulane, right? Shouldn't our secondary eat his arse up?

Yes. Line has moved big time towards the Rebels since Sunday morning. Also keep in mind Clemson was a 4.5 favorite.

We have not won a game in Oxford since 2019.

We have no running game.

Our O line is average.

That’s .5 less than the typical home field bump. Considering what we know about the teams after who they’ve played, it’s fair.

Is this dumb money, or is there something we are missing?

The Ole Miss run defense might be just what we need. They have given up a ton of yards on the ground in every game and over 200 to Arkansas. Wanna say they've given up like 185 on average per game. If we were giving up 185 per game the rant would say we should be 10 poinit dogs.

Their run defense is 122nd in the nation. We do not have to be all that good to get some yards.

Their passing defense is pretty good, and they have only allowed three passing TDS this year. But surely we can overcome that with Nuss looking good.

It'd be nice to win in Oxford to have another week in the top 10...

Go back and watch the throws he made against Tulane. Then come update your post.

He made several decent throws but it's clear Lane doesn't really trust him in the passing game. It's short quick throws or deep outside throws. Not reading the defense much. Tulane's DBs just couldn't match up with those Ole Miss WRs. I think our DBs are pretty dang good.

Running is not our strength.

Was watching highlights of the Arky game. Not sure what their base defense is, but they had a LOT of 3-man fronts on D and dropped a lot into coverage. Arky had success running on “passing downs” against the 3-man front.
Won’t this be the first true running QB we face? THAT is what could make the difference.

You could say that but Chambliss isn't some enigma. He's closer to the Clemson QB than he is to Sellers.

If we can’t run, then they will just double up our receivers. You can’t be one dimensional in this league and our running game is garbage. One opens up the other.

Oh wow. I disagree on that one. I have only just watched their highlights, but he has a decent arm and is very quick. He’s MUCH more athletic than Klubnik

He's certainly quicker than Klubnik and has a better feel for running the ball but he's not some elite runner of the football. He's 6' 200 lbs which is why I said he's more Klubnik then Sellers. He's been feasting on extremely weak defenses. I'm not sure he can hold up getting hit over and over against LSU. We are a different animal than Kentucky and R Kansas.

Edited to add- I know he didn't really play against Kentucky. Should have said Tulane instead.
