-Trey and Herb back on the court and full speed for several weeks new. Expects them back for preseason and are fully cleared.

-Queen and Murray still rehabbing and no timeline yet.

-These guys have been playing together and that includes Zion.

-Talks to Zion about responsibility and accountability. Great emphasis on that.

- Peavy has been working out with Bey, Fears with Poole, and Queen is paired with Looney.

- Has been pushing Queen on his conditioning.

- Confirmed Weaver pushed for Poole. Wanted him as his timeline matches our core. Said Poole is obsessed with the game. 24/7 nonstop.

- Fears is a gym rat. Had to force him to leave the gym and rest.

- Spoke to the coaches this morning to set expectations. No expectations from a win/losses standpoint. The expectations are playing hard day in and day out, compete, and the wins will follow. Don't want the team to play half speed or lack effort.

-Before you can complete for the playoffs, you have to establish the mentality to compete hard every single night. Can't put expectations on wins and loss or playin/playoffs until you can establish the mentality in the building.

-Said Fears will have the opportunity to earn minutes but it's up to Fears to prove that he's ready. Will go at the pace that Fears can handle.

-Really emphasizing players who are obsessed with basketball and name Poole and Fears as examples.

-Spoke about Green. Said Green is sitting next to him every day and talks about the team, style of play, depth, rotations, and etc... said communication with Green is good and feels that is the key to a good relationship between front office and the coaching staff.

-Said he's in constant communication with the medical team to go over everything to get guys back on the court. Won't put guys back on the court if they are not ready and won't let them come back too early and embarrass themselves. Been a big emphasis this summer with the medical staff going over the processes. Each guy is different. Some guys might be ready at 75% while another guy could be at 95% and not close to being ready. The mental aspect is a big hurdle as well. Each case is different.

-Confirms Jose is fine and has been on the court.

I'll give it to Joe, he says a lot of good things that make sense.

Nothing can get me excited about this team except a good product on the court that consistently performs

I have no real objection to anything Joe D has said…….

But for the love of Christ, can we for once not talk about guys who are “all about the game” and talk about getting guys because they are really freaking good at basketball.

frick it. I'm pumped. Ready to be hurt but no one can hurt me like the Saints have, so it's all up hill.

Over and under we are signing players to 15 day contracts by Christmas due to injuries?

It’s all talk and means nothing currently.

Loomis and Moore preached the same bullshite this offseason for the Saints and look at the results.

I fully expect the Pels to start 0-4 as well with the rash of injuries, load management, and poor coaching to continue.

Gayle’s organizations are rotten to the core and there is no fix until the head of the snake is removed.

I get what you mean, but it’s not like anybody on this roster was added for any reason other than they are really good at basketball.

That’s the 1st filter obviously.

I don’t mind the 2nd filter being, “okay now out of these elite basketball players, which ones care more”.

I don't know how Griff did it but Dumars is definitely going to set an expectation upon the way they play and that's going to eventually clash with Willie pretty hard, but if that's what it takes to get Willie out of here so be it

Please stop posting. Your negativity really spoils good post and good conversation. I love the Pels and every season brings optimism. You've made your point in far too many posts. We already know what you think about the owner, management, players, training staffs and so on. Let us who still enjoy talking about our favorite team do so without your constant negativity.

Jordan Hawkins

Huge camp for Hawkins. We have until 10/31 to decide on his option for next year. At this point, I think it would have to be a no. It's not a small amount (about 7M). We really need him to be motivated and finally show out..

you have Zion with conditioning issues entire career so you draft Queen with conditioning issues as well while giving up a potential lottery pick in upcoming draft
