Looks like a good one to check out. Seems like the plot line is similar to 'The Bear' in a way.

A rising-star restaurateur (Jude Law) is forced into New York's criminal underworld when his chaotic brother (Jason Bateman) returns to town with loan sharks on his trail.
It’s an 8-episode limited series.

Everyone says your heart rate will go up. I don’t need that right now, but I really wanna watch.
I remember not being able to sleep well after some of those Game of Thrones episodes

Just pulled up the IMDb and saw a 7.0 rating.
Ill use that as the onus to tell my new way of looking at the ratings on there.
Look at the break down. the majority of the ratings are 10/10, with 8/10 being the 2nd most likely. there is a spike down in the 1/10 ratings.
Usually some bizarre reason causes these low votes. Or there are 50 people that say, not for me 1/10. Which is retarded.
It appears that most of the negative reviews are that its "slow" which usually means "me like boom booms and boobs. me no like story"
Again i havent watched it but, in general, ive adjusted the way i look at ratings when deciding on watching something. (more so for shows, as they are more of a time commitment. I will watch a movie way more indescriminatley)

The plot line itself couldn't be more different.

30 minutes into the first episode. It’s slow as fk and their not giving any context to the 10 different plots that are going on so far.

I thought it was average at best and lingered on and on. I would not watch again.

Big no on Bateman.
He's a kitty.

3 eps in, it’s solid but my god is it anxiety inducing. Whoever said it’s similar to uncut gems was right

2 episodes in and liking it.
It did start out like a complete cluster. Almost quit it after the first 15-20 minutes.

Lazy arse? You couldn’t even be bothered to type out a two sentence paragraph on why we should watch the show.
Be better.
