He lied to his audience by mischaracterizing who he was and why he murdered Charlie, minimized the tragedy in a truly vile manner , made it FAR more likely that Leftists would kill more Normals, effectively saying to his Leftist audience - don’t be upset by this- Trump wasn’t upset by this- the shooter was a Conservative-keep on hammering Trump and Republicans- let the violent chips fall where they may.
