Will be in Nashville Thursday-Sunday for the LSU/Vanderbilt game weekend. Any local lunch spot recommendations for a group of mid-late 20's guys/girls? We'll be bar hopping on Broadway in the evening/night. TIA.

Frothy Monkey. Go to the original location on 12th Ave South.

Edit: I thought you said brunch.

What area are you staying?

Generally, I like to take people to Sixty Vines on Broadway. Good food. Great vibe. Plenty of seating. Literally right across the street from the Rhyman Auditorium.

In the 12 South Area, the 12 South Taproom is popular. Parking can be a pain in the arse.

Fidos in Hillsboro Village is popular and walking distance to Vandy.

Brown's Diner isn't too far from Vandy and is an iconic, old burger type place.

Good Link

Martin's BBQ for a quick bite.

Gannon's for a upscale very good restaurant. I got their pork chop and it was the best one I've ever had.

Love Nashville Sixty Vines. It's my favorite Sixty Vines location. You should get a reservation if you go here.

I agree with:

Butcher and Bee
Acme Feed and Seed
5 Points Pizza
Pharmacy Burger
Red Headed Stranger (2nd place is Lady Bird Tacos, but we usually get breakfast tacos there.)
Bella Napoli - pizza

Hate that Mafiaoza's closed.

OP: These are some really good recommendations! Just know some are in other parts of the city like "East Nashville" depending upon your location, interest in driving etc.

If you want to stay downtown, Acme is really cool. Old 3 story hardware store right now the river off 2nd Avenue. Each level is different,

Acme Feed & Seed is a lively, multi-level restaurant and entertainment venue located in the heart of Downtown Nashville, right on Lower Broadway—the city’s iconic strip known for honky-tonks, neon lights, and live music. Housed in a historic building that once served as a farm supply store, Acme blends Southern comfort food with a modern twist, offering everything from hot chicken and sushi to craft cocktails and local brews. The rooftop bar provides panoramic views of the Cumberland River and Nissan Stadium, making it a favorite for tourists and locals alike. It’s a quintessential Nashville experience—where food, music, and skyline meet.

We like Acme because it's not exactly like the rest of Broadway. It has a river view and is less honky tonk, bar. It's a little of an escape of the Broadway craziness.

Same for Sixty Vines. They kind of feel like an oasis of calm when you leave Broadway.

Anywhere you go to eat in Nashville, check and see if they take reservations. You could potentially have a very long wait on a weekend as there is a crazy lot of people!

You'll want to go to 12 South at some point. The girls will appreciate the shopping, and the guys can sit at the Tap Room or Bottle Cap. While you're there, eat at Buttermilk Ranch (best brunch ever), BarTaco, or Fondas. There are a few more great places on that stretch as well. It's peak gentrification, but it's a neat place if you've never been.

They can take IG photos up and down the street at all the selfie stations.

12 South will soon look like a shopping version of Broadway as all the older businesses are run out by the ever escalating rents.

Agree... head to that long strip and there are lots of restaurants with patios, coffee bars, shops, etc.

Your SO will love it.
