Wife and I will be celebrating 20th anniversary in Lafayette and we are wanting some suggestions on where to eat Friday night. I’m leaning towards Charlie G’s but I’m open to any other suggestions anyone might have.

Love Chuck G's. Ruffino's is nice as well.
And congratulations!

Ruffinos is a great special occasion favorite for us as well. The last couple of years we did Marcelo’s and then Pamplonas Tapas for our anniversary’s and enjoyed them both.
Did Ruth Chris several years back and it was great also. Zia’s near Reds would be a good one as well.
For normal nights out we like to hit up Riverfront or Dupuy’s in Abbeville.
Congrats

I’d suggest another spot 15min north of Lafayette, The Steamboat Warehouse in Washington. Good drinks, great appetizers & entrees, outstanding service…

Never heard of the Steamboat Warehouse. Looks great. Thanks!

We’ve been on a Marcelo’s kick lately. They deliver every time.

just an fyi on the steamboat warehouse, they don't take reservations...be prepared to wait, because they are usually quite busy...

Pamplona is my favorite restaurant in town but can get a little loud sometimes. Marcellos would be a good choice.

Love Vestal. I have a hard time conversing in there. Old man problems.

Marcello best food, Charlie G best bar

Went a couple weeks ago for my bday. Service and food were excellent.

This, get seating at the counter overlooking the kitchen. My wife and I love sitting there and watching the kitchen work and, this may sound stupid, is probably the quietest place to sit in the entire place.

That place is way TOO loud. I would not go on an anniversary date there but that's just me.

if you don't mind driving to Breaux Bridge (20 minutes) Cafe Sydnie Mae has a solid menu and great groceries. Been there a dozen times and never had a bad meal or service. The grilled pork loin is amazing. Tender, and you can cut it with a fork
