Nuss, Arch Manning and Klubnik have all disappointed and looked absolutely pedestrian. Don't know what they saw where they said this was going to be a generational QB class!

Well Nuss is hurt, so that's the reason he isn't living up to his hype.

It sounds like Nuss needs more than a few weeks off. Hopefully he wont play this weekend and just rests up.

Klubnik was actually really good last year and Arch was always overrated on purpose.

To be fair, aside from Manning, they were going off of past performance, which was fantastic for Nussmeier and Klubnik.

This happens every year, I’m not sure why you’re surprised. There are guys that exceed their preseason expectations and guys the underperform their preseason expectations.

Are we actually planning on playing Van Buren for the majority of this weekend or is that folks here trying to manifest that into existence?

Like other said, Nuss and Klubnik played well and were expected to take the next step. Arch was just overhyped. Still plenty of time for all three to come around tho.

I think Klubnik is better than the offense is showing. He doesn't seem to have any WRs who can get separation. That might also be because their offense is predictable.

Nuss has not been nearly as bad as the folks on this board would like you to believe. He played very well against Clemson on the road only 2 weeks ago. He's definitely been off, though.

Klubnik hasn't been that bad but definitely not Heisman level - Heisman expectations were never fair expectations in my opinion.

Arch has been truly terrible. It's to the point with Arch where I almost feel bad for the guy.

Lagway has obviously been Horrendous.

Sellers missed a half last week, but he had been pretty bad before that.

All 5 of those guys were Heisman hopefuls in the preseason. Joey Aguilar and Gunner Stockton looked like they should be in New York if the season were ending today.

I hope this season delivers. Maybe we don’t win a national championship. But I think Nuss is a future 2x Super Bowl winner.

Arch won’t ever amount to shite at the next level. He had unrealistic expectations on name. But football is hard.

Nuss & Klubnik played well late last season which is why expectations were high for both. I never understood the hype for Manning though being he had such little live game experience heading into this season.

Has been the best NFL looking prospect so far this season yet if Arkansas' Taylen Green continues to play the way he has so far, he's going to shoot up draft boards.

Well that's a nice convenient excuses but he hasn't ever really lit the world on fire at QB.

Nuss is hurt.

Arch was only highly thought of because of his name. If his last name was Johnson, he'd be starting for Southeastern this weekend.

Klubnik DID have a good year last season so the hype didn't come from nowhere.

Late against Ole Miss, OU & the bowl game vs Baylor. Also the bowl game against Wisconsin in 2023 says otherwise.
