Looks like 3 months (season). Injuries are part of the game but man he’s missing another season sucks. He’s such a great QB

I don't know what his contract is, but I wish he'd seriously consider asking for a trade. The Bungles are such a shite team - they spent a fortune on two of the best receivers in the NFL, but don't have the money to get a decent OL in front of Burrow to keep him from getting injured.

I don't care if he had the four best WR's and the best TE to throw to - if he's running for his life behind a crap OL or, worse, getting injured because of that crap OL having the best hands in the business doesn't matter. He'll never be able to get the ball to them.

And, yeah, this injury was turf toe, but that doesn't change the truth of what I said.

This is the price Cincinatti will continue to pay until they give him a decent offensive line.

He was the one pushing to sign Higgins to a max contract. He should’ve kept his mouth shut, let them let Higgins walk and used some of that moolah for OL help.

They better do it soon, then, or they won't have Burrow in the backfield to protect. He'll either get injured too many times and demand a trade, or get injured too many times and simply retire.

If he continues to sit in that pocket behind a JV offensive line and take hits and sacks he's going to end up in a wheelchair or with permanent CTE. Or both.

They've tried.

Free agency and draft picks.

They have whiffed on every fricking one.

Money is mostly tied up in skill positions. It’s the unfortunate gamble you take. A bad defense and bad OLINE is the price.

As much as I hated the Patriots during their reign of terror, I have to give it to Belichick: he knew how to build a roster under the cap.

Somehow he was able to pay for the players worth paying, and then find serviceable players to flesh out a functional team. Not sure how he was able to find a bunch of no-names that turned into stars, but kudos to that old ghost and credit where credit is due.

That said, there's almost no chance that can happen in Cincy. That team has been a cluster ever since Paul Brown beat feat out of Cleveland to start a rival team. And the current ownership/coaching structure will be the continued ruin of that team.

RIP, JB9. Burreaux for life!

Their O-line is such shite.

They put pressure on Joe constantly by rushing only 4 guys...and all 4 guys were getting to Joe, wasn't just one dominate pass rusher.

All that money for receivers and now you got a backup throwing to them, although he played decent.

At least it isn’t a ligament again. Slipperiness is a sneaky big part of his game.

I was going to say this - its not due to lack of effort. They have tried - honestly they have. They have just done a shite job of evaluating both free agents and draft picks.
