He just said Sloan is doing what he is being asked to do.

He taps the breaks sometimes.

Direct quotes.

He also mentioned how Sloan is trying to be too perfect in getting the right play called… sounds like a young OC still learning a bit on the job. Similar to when BK started carrying a play sheet last year

He also said he managed the Fla game.

He dictated the O tempo and aggressiveness.

Shades of Les when they said they'd come to him with a playsheet for a game and Leslie would mark off half of them.

the frustrating thing isn't that we played conservative , it is that we are incapable of playing conservatives and still move the chains

Even removing the interceptions it was pretty clear the defense had Florida in a chokehold so i understand the thinking

we got to be able to manufacture yards on 1st down.

I agree. We still need first downs.

He mentioned playing field position.

I think he knows the D is elite.

Nothing like having one's OC cutting his teeth in the SEC.

So he's pulling a Les and interfering in the offense?

Nuss looks his best when he is able to get into a rhythm and call the game the game the way they did kills that.

it really is shades of Les, the QBs are always going to struggle when you are constantly asking them to convert 3rd and long

I know I'll get killed for saying this, but he is coaching to win the game.

I don't like that he is essentially "waiting" for our offense to cost us a game to make changes, but that seems like what he is doing.

He said as such after the game. If you have a defense that can hold opponents to 10 points per game, you roll conservative on offense.

That doesn't answer why we haven't been able to run the ball for 2 seasons. Running is not risky nor aggressive. In fact if we could run the ball like we did in the Les Miles years we wouldn't be complaining with this defense. Winning with your defense is much easier when you have an offense that can control the ball and eat clock on the ground. The reason we're concerned is because our offense can't do that so regardless of how conservative we are it is still putting a ton of pressure on our defense. 1 blown assignment could cost us the game - luckily florida was holding on that play

Yeah but the minions of brilliant OC's we have on this board won't be satisfied. Might last one day then they crawl back and nit pick everything. If BK would only just listen to them.
