Another trans killer.
Also, I've always thought it was suspicious that Gein was said to have dug up so many graves in such a short period. He was a little guy and digging a grave sized hole is backbreaking work.
Maybe he just had psycho energy but maybe he wasn't alone in doing these murders.

Gein was only digging up fresh graves to get to newly buried bodies, so the ground was still soft and hadn't compacted like it would over time. Still a hell of a feat to do all in the cover of darkness so he wasn't found out.

When people went nuts over the Dahmer show, I remember thinking "These people would go nuts if they knew about Ed Gein or Richard Ramirez." This one looks truly haunting.

Not entirely. He admitted to digging up as many as 40 graves, most but not all being new or at least recent. That's impressive no matter what the soil is like.

Are there any other movies, docs out there about him? If so, where can it be streamed?

Never seen anything else about him, of course besides Psycho and Texas chainsaw Massacre, which he inspired both.

There are a few other shows about Ed Gein----true crime types that I've seen over the years.
There was also a movie made about him in 2007 called "Ed Gein---The Butcher of Plainfield" that should be pretty easy to find on the net.

The details of Gein’s life and murders
are horrific. It’ll be hard to make an entertaining watch all the way through..,

If his life and murders are horrific, it seems like it would be very entertaining due to the extremeness of both

I mean these movies are based off of him. His story has inspired a lot of villains.
Psycho
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Silence of the Lambs
