That's obstruction.

Of the full interview:

- DNA on towel & screw driver matches the suspect
- “More than 20” individuals involved in the Discord Group chat the suspect was a part of, but FBI working through the legal process to speak to these people & retrieve data (search warrants, etc.)
- Referred to roommate as “live-in partner”, confirming the romantic relationship with his transitioning male roommate
- Family was aware of suspect’s radical liberal ideology, which fully debunks the “closeted alt-right groyper” angle
- Confirmed existence of written note from suspect, dated prior to assassination, stating he had the opportunity and would do it
- Working through tech resources to determine who else the suspect was communicating with & whether or not there was coordination with others on the ground at the event

Note existed before the shooting.
Suspect says he has opportunity to kill Kirk and will use it.
Note was in home of suspect and He/She.
Note was destroyed, but FBI has forensic evidence of it's existence. Didn't say who, how, or when of destruction.

Suspect wrote a note saying that he was going to kill Charlie Kirk. The note was destroyed, but the FBI was able to ascertain its existence and collect evidence of its destruction

Edit: I was being unfair to Patel. I appreciate the transparency.

Hmmm...so the note existed in the residence of the suspect and partner, but was destroyed.

So either the shooter wrote the note and then destroyed it himself before anyone saw it or

The shooter wrote it, the boyfriend or someone else saw it and then either the shooter or someone else destroyed it

If it is the second one, then someone knew about it before hand and at least decided not to call the cops about it, and may have destroyed evidence.

Paraphrased.

And not an odd message to convey to a partner explaining what you're about to do.

Maybe the tranny bf didn't know, though I still find that very hard to believe. But this note might be why the FBI thinks this way.

Wild theory here but this is a wild situation.

Maybe when some of those reported shady characters that were in and out of their residence leading up to the assassination were there, he wrote out his plan to show them instead of actually saying it out loud just in case someone was recording or something. Everything has a listening device in it now, plus if somone in the room had on a wire that nullifies that as well.

Or the more likely scenario is: crazy dude is crazy and did something illogical.

We have learned of what that note said because of our aggressive interview posture at the FBI." FBI: Tell us what the note said or we will throw you in jail. I don't think this will go to trial, but I don't think that testimony would be very strong in court.

Existence of a note would only help the accomplices. People don't write notes explaining their actions to people who are in on the action.

If I’m the tranny I’m hyping the note theory big time.

Didn’t Discord put out a press release stating the assassin did not use Discord to plan/discuss the plan?

to be clear: I’m not questioning the investigators but questioning if Discord lied with their press release.

Weirdo suspect may have assassinated Kirk as an act of love to his He/She lover. Straight out of Taxi Driver and John Hinkley attempt on Regan.
Just throwing out there to add more chaos, see how fast this comes back.

If he’s communicating with someone or some people about an assassination, he’s not using Discord. I highly doubt that.

Anyone with half a brain, and engaging in criminal shite is using an encrypted app with messages that get shredded after a set amount of time. The Feds have tried to “backdoor” into some of these apps and I doubt they’re successful

I didn’t see that but am not surprised by it. I think Kash was talking about the group chat they’ve referenced since the beginning & has been quoted. Probably full of vitriol & it sounds like some members made jokes about the killer looking like Tyler, but I highly doubt he used that app to plan. That would be a “world’s dumbest criminals” level stupidity.
