Tiger stadium - can we fix the upper decks?

Should be converted into party areas w a slight overhang, reduce capacity but charge more money. Win win

Screw that, build on and make a triple decker stadium. Make the 3rd deck for the fair weather fans that are just there to be seen or just drink beer and party and leaves at halftime while the real fans that’ll stay can have the bottom bowl and the upper deck.

Why were their so many empty seats in the lower-level last night? It looked bad on tv

Not sure what you were seeing. Compared to recent games, there were plenty of people in the well into the 4th quarter.

East and west sidelines always disappoint. But you can count on NEZ and SEZ

Sat in my seat in SEZ till the end as always never left early ever.

I sit in the east upper. Yeah, cheap seats and I’m stuck with visiting team fans. Yeah, it’s hot. But the fans up there with me are just as loud and passionate as those in the lower bowl. Yes, some leave early, just like the rest of the stadium. There are a number of us that stay till the final play…every game. One other thing…I’ve got an excellent view of the field. Make fun of the upper decks all you want but they push seating capacity and help fund the program.

It sucks sitting up there. I’d rather watch on TV. I won’t even take a free ticket to sit up there.

My observation was to do away with the “gold” game. It did make it look more vacant because of the color.

I’ll take “stupid ideas” for $100 Alex.

One of my favorite games I attended was sitting in the East Nosebleeds. A&M game 2013. Everyone was rowdy the entire game and it was fun as hell up there.

I think they should build a north upper and make more suites. Plus it makes it finally look even.
Posted on 9/14/25 at 10:25 pm to Flyingtiger82
Can’t build a north upper.
Not enough room between Tiger Stadium and PMAC..

Big SEC game on Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium and there are empty seats in the Lower Bowl.
Oh, how the Mighty have Fallen! (Yeah, we absolutely made the right decision on getting the frick out of Louisiana!)

I’ve sat every where, suites, to lower bowl, end zones and 50yd line.
Upper deck, chair back, 50yd line, first row is the best seat in the stadium. The view, if you know what you are watching, is amazing.
