They tried this offseason, but too many coaches wanted to keep it. If the Eagles tush push their way to a 2nd Super Bowl, it’ll be banned next offseason

They shouldn't ban it they should just call the guards from Philly being offsides usually when they do it. That would stop it.

Not only do they always have multiple players line up offsides when they do it they usually have multiple false starts when they run it too and it never gets called because it has a cute nickname that easily impressionable women love.

The saints tried it once last week and we were flagged for offsides.

I had to laugh considering the eagles do it all the time and never get flagged.

Outlawed because you can't stop it? No

Can’t stop it when they have multiple violations each time they do it and they don’t call any penalties.

That really makes no sense.
Is there any other team besides Philadelphia that is successful with it consistently?

They just need to stop the ability to have the guys behind the QB push the rusher forward.

Reason I say this…it’s that third push that makes the difference. Otherwise, a QB sneak isn’t that effective.

I don’t know why teams don’t run it with their RB or TE. Imagine the Ravens running it with Derrick Henry or Raiders running it with Brock Bowers.

Part of why it is so successful is Hurts has freakish lower body strength.

It does look like someone else false starts every time

Half the chiefs are also lined up in the neutral zone

That’s why so many teams wanted to ban it. They didn’t necessarily want to ban the play, but rather, the illegal elements of their success.

The NFL claimed they were going to crack down on the early jumps by the linemen, so the momentum against the play waned and the owners and teams kept it.

I agree. That’s why guys like Allen and other QBs can’t really do it. But almost all teams have a FB or TE or somebody who can squat a car. Just need to teach them to take a snap. It’s not like you don’t know it’s coming.
