Is Va Tech football dead?

They've been pretty bad or average at best since Beamer left, but looking bad down 28-0 in Q3 to Old Dominion at home.

Their football history is pretty lousy outside of a 10-15 year stretch with Beamer. Before he got there, I don't think they had been ranked in the AP Poll since the Eisenhower administration.

What they used to be under Beamer has been or will be replaced by Georgia Tech who has a bright future in the NIL era being smack dab in the center of a major city like Atlanta.

I’ll respectfully disagree, and that’s not the UVA grad in me talking. They have some of the most arrogant fans in the country. They act as if college football started in the mid-90s and they’re one of the greatest programs in the history of the sport. Obviously, this doesn’t include every fan of theirs, but it encompasses a hell of a lot of them.

They should be interested in Fran Brown at Syracuse but I think he's going to get other offers I know they look bad against Tennessee but Tennessee's a good football team

Nobody in ATL cares about GT but the few GT grads that are in-state.
