You're still thinking like this is the old days of classic news networks dictating the story. It is so far beyond that now that what once was the issue isn't even a speck in the rearview. Modern media is "pick your poison". Each person finds their lane, latches on to their chosen infallible sources, and trusts them no matter what. People only care about the truth that they are interested in, and there is far too often a vast gulf between reality and that chosen truth.
