Cincinnati barbecue chain cuts ties with co owner, but not before losing contracts with FC Cincinnati, TQL stadium, and a large entertainment and shopping district.

Posters are calling out the remaining partners as having the same view as the other guy and just exercising damage control.

This is the most prominent example of a business suffering major financial loss that I have seen.

Sounds like BS damage control, how does a business cut ties with the owner?

Because he’s a minority owner.

It may very well be BS, but the reality is that there would have to be a legal process of removing a partner. Lawyers will be involved, lots of paperwork, buyout to be negotiated. Even though he's a minority owner, he has legal rights as a part owner of a franchise. There are state and federal laws involved.

And that minority owner was posting anti Trump crap long before this. Just vile stuff. But now that it hits the bottom line they must cut ties. But they knew a long time ago.

Yea until I see a tax return or document showing an ownership change. The co owner is probably also a filthy liberal

If you lose that significant a number of contracts overnight they will likely be bankrupt soon regardless.

Yep, lose half your customers, if only for a few months, a restaurant is toast.

This type of thing is why in about 3 months the right needs to look up all these lefties and see if the company actually fired them. If they didn’t start back up on attacking the companies
