CATCH UP: Everything we know about the Charlie Kirk Shooter (so far)

The shooter was 22 year old, Tyler Robinson. 5’10” 150 lbs. Brown hair.

He currently has three charges:
- Felony discharge of firearm
- Obstruction of justice
- Aggravated murder

He is being held without bail

He received a full $32,000 scholarship to Utah State University but dropped out after one semester. He had a 4.0 GPA in HS and a 34 ACT.

Robinson was not a student at the school Charlie was shot at. He was a local resident of the university.

His Father is the one who turned him in to the FBI. He reached out to a family friend and said that Robinson was alluding to the fact that he did the murder. The information also got to the FBI.

A family friend also said that he was saying hateful and violent things about Charlie Kirk at a family dinner prior to the shooting. They say he has become more radicalized in the prior years.

Robinson opened his big mouth and blabbed to his friends and roommate on Discord about needing to retrieve a gun from a drop point. He mentioned the rifle was in a bush and how to identify it and where it was located. It was wrapped in a towel. He mentioned that he changed clothes after killing Kirk.

He also mentioned the gun he used and the bullet engravings.

The rifle was a Mauser Model 98, .30-06 bolt action rifle.

The retrieved bullet casings had troll-y messages written on them:

“Notices Bulges. OWO? What’s this?”
“Hey Fascist! Catch! ??????????”
“Oh bella ciao, Bella ciao, Bella ciao ciao ciao”
“If you read this you are gay LMAO”

Bella ciao is an Italian antifascist song.

Tyler Robinson has no registered political affiliation.

The question here is what was Tyler Robinson doing with his time if he dropped out of college after one semester? He was 22. What was he doing for those non-college years? Was he working? What groups was he a part of? What information was he consuming? How was he spending his time?

If there are any other facts or interesting parts of the story please share in this post.

I have a bolt action .30-06 and I regularly shoot targets 600-700 yards out. This guy was roughly only 200 yards away right?

Also something really weird I have only seen one other person bring up, Kirk had body armor on. The shooter aimed for his heart to ensure death and it hit his body armor and went up into his neck killing him.

Why was Kirk wearing body armor?

What does this mean? I don't understand it... was he living at a university without attending classes?

I hope we find out the answers to these questions.

And what happened that single semester to cause him to quit.

I think that question has already been answered considering he was just shot and killed at one of his events.

Saw a google earth map estimating (between two points) a 375ish foot distance between the roof he seemed to be on and the rough spot Kirk was seated at.

He absolutely, 100% for sure, was not wearing body armor.

Between 130 and 150 yards.

As I said above I have a bolt action of the same rifle that can target 1000 yards and I regularly shoot 600-700 yard targets.

From a prone position under no stress a 200 yard shot is extremely easy with that rifle assuming you have it scoped correctly

A 200 yard shot doesn’t require a “sniper” you fricking idiot. That’s a chip shot for most hunters.

What a wasted life. So the question is, how was he radicalized?

Do you think it would be very easy for someone who had never shot a real rifle before too? Genuine question. As someone without experience, it seems too lucky.

Online gaming, while complaining about not being able to find a job, while not really looking for a job.

His father was in law enforcement for like 25 years. I imagine he was pretty comfortable with a gun and went shooting with his dad throughout his life

If a scope/rifle is sighted in, thats an easy shot. Bullet doesnt really drop but 3" or so @200 yards.

What is aggravated murder?

Shouldn't he be charged with premeditated 1st degree murder?
