they've successfully obstructed the will of the american people and brought trump's agenda to its knees for 8 months despite having FULL control of the presidency & congress by Rs.
feckless fricks.
throw in the 3 months 'lame duck' presidency when a new president is elected and we're talking almost 1/4 of trump's effective term. TWENTY FIVE PERCENT OF HIS PRESIDENCY.
so if anyone is celebrating right now its the Dems. they are laughing their asses off that they were able to get away with this for EIGHT MONTHS while Rs fumbled around and fought among themselves.

They created a martyr that is much harder to impeach. Do you think the future generations think people are killed for lying or for telling the truth?

Incompetence from the Rs is expected. I surprised they finally did something and it's a shame it took a murder to push them to action.

Nothing in current time stick for any period of time in US politics. The same thought was spoke after 911. People said things would change forever in the US. The only thing that has changed over time is a larger population of Americans having sympathy for non American culture and hate of patriotism.
Kirk assassination is a wake up call and should change US politics going forward, but the truth is, it will not change anything politically as soon as the 2026 mid terms. Memories are.shirt and the media will make sure to ignore the Kirk event.

It would be foolish in the extreme to expect the US Republican Party to sustain anything close to domestic political dominance over the Democratic Party for any significant length of time. The GOP is too weak and feckless for that. The GOP will never fight the power and is always ready to bow in submission to power.
