How has the gun not been more traceable. It is not easy to find untraceable guns for most

Folks.

I am surprised we have not heard more about the gun.

It’s going to have prints, whether from the weapon or ammo

Trace it to what? There is no “gun purchase database”.

What do you want traced? Ownership? That information ain’t coming out until everyone who needs to be in custody is in custody.

Serial numbers can be filed off. If you're going to something illegal, do it with an illegal gun

This was a setup. The footage of those security personnel signaling less than 2 seconds before Kirk was shot is irrefutable.

ATF trace goes to the manufacturer first with the serial number and traces from there. Normal case takes 1-2 weeks. The NTC(National Trace Center) probably has 100 agents working this case.

I’ve seen this theory but why would his security guys want him killed? It’s not like he was a prick and now they don’t have a job.

There is no national gun registry. The best you can get is an ATF gun trace which is essentially a purchase history from manufacture to dealer and all subsequent sales that went through an FFL. This however does not include private party sales or gifting firearms. I guarantee you they have already done that. As another poster posted in normal circumstances this takes some time but that’s because there is long line of requests for these. This would have gone straight to top of the stack.

As far as fingerprints, first you have to get a clean print which is pretty rare on rounded surfaces like the metal on a firearm or bullet/cartridge. Then, even if you are lucky and get one you have to have the matching print be in a database for it to be worth anything as far as identifying an unknown suspect.

I say all this as someone who uses this type of info on a regular basis.

Because maybe they weren’t just security guards. Do you think Kirk has a personal relationship will every security guard on every detail?

There is always DNA, it's impossible to strip clean all of it.

Then just find his relatives who went on 42 and me.

It’s not like he had a 50 man Secret Service detail. Probably a handful of regulars hired out by a private executive team. Most likely highly vetted and former SWAT and/or military.

And what is gained by signaling?

My one client died under our security isn’t going to bring in business.

They essentially ruined their lives and career.

So no.

But in all likelihood, the company that imported the Mauser has been closed for a long time, the distributor it sold to has been out of business, and the original gun store is out of business, all before records became digitalised.

How do we know the gun they “found” is the actual gun used to shoot Kirk? That young guy in black might be a patsy for the deep state. “They’ll never think it was us if we write some tranny bullshite on the gun and throw it in the woods beside the main highway for someone to find.”

Spent round-matched to the rifling on the rifle.
