Does it matter if you drink your dose of creatine all at once or is it the same if you drink it over time? For example, if I put the dose in my water bottle when I leave for work and don't finish it until lunch.

I've been wondering the same thing. I just take gummies, so it's all at the same time, but I've wondered if the timing matters.

I would imagine the consistent regular consumption of creatine over time is more important than timing since most of the beneficial effects occur when your system is fully saturated. I don’t think it matters whether you consume in one or more doses as long as you are doing it consistently. Personally, I just put a scoop in water before and after the gym and maybe once more during the day, but I take more than most.

Creatine takes days to fully saturate cells. It doesn't matter when you take it.

Only matters if you are using insulin. Otherwise it doesn’t. Just be consistent.

Correct and only matters then if you worried about that 1% which I guess anyone using insulin is.

Are you actually drinking the creatine though? Every brand I've ever tried to mix in anything, the majority of it just sinks to the bottom. That's why I dry scoop it.

Saw another thread about guys claiming benefits of taking an excess of 5mg/day. So now I'm doing 5mg twice a day.

My container sure does run out fast.

I’ve gotten to where I take a very heaping scoop full each morning. It’s a 5G scooper so I’m likely getting 7-8g a day.

You won’t really get much performance benefits from 10+g but you will get brain and memory benefits
