Another A/T Truck Tire Thread

I've got 65,000 mi on my KO2s (275/60 R20) on the Tundra. They're getting close to being done.
I'm leaning to KO3s this time around. Anyone running them and have a comparison to KO2s?

Just made same switch about 5,000 miles ago. Seem to be a little quieter (could just be because they are new) and better traction on wet concrete. Haven't been in mud yet.
Recommend road force balancing, had issues with vibrations at high speeds (70+) with regular balancing. Turns out 3 out of 4 tires were out of spec and were replaced for free. Rides great now though.

I put Cooper Discoverer's on my Ford not long ago and I really like them. Sounds cheap, but went through Walmart and because we already had Walmart+ membership, got the road hazard coverage for free.
I was under $800 all in on a new set of 4.

My truck came with Coopers and they only lasted 35k miles. I'm going to stick with something with a little longer tread life.

Hopefully I get more out of those than what you did. It isnt an everyday driver for me, but still...

What about Dueler AT Ascents?

So you paid $800 for a set that lasted 35k potentially, but are willing to pay $2k for BFGs to last 50k? The math ain't mathing

I got some Falkens from Sam's for just over $800. Seems like the best of both worlds. They last a long time, perform well, and they aren't nearly as expensive as BFGs.

Me? I paid $800 for a set of 4 Coopers...I am not looking for tires to replace those with.

Really like my Cooper Discoverer A/Ts through Walmart. Purchased a second set after getting 65k+ miles out of the first. They’ve done well in decent mud conditions and forrested dirt roads.

They weren't Cooper Discoverers, so probably not applicable. They were whatever Coopers came from the Toyota dealership.

I have Falken Wild peaks on the wife's car. Only have 10k on them so far, but they seem fine.

You got a pic of your current tundra/tire. Looking to put that size tire on mine

I’ve had great experiences with Nitto.

So far on heavy trucks I've had really good luck (60k + miles) from:
Firestone Tranforce at
Bridgestone dueler at
Had wrangler AT's for a while, ok tread life but I never could get them to quit vibrating
Had Kelly safari ATs once and liked them a lot, especially for the price.
I haven't had an AT tire yet that I didn't like now that I think about it.

I’m on my third set of Coopers for my 2014 Tundra with 186,000. Truck came with KO2s but I had to replace those at 50,000, because the previous owner put in a leveling kit and didn’t get an alignment, so they wore out earlier than expected. First two sets came from NTB which has their own Cooper not called Discoverers. This set is from Sam’s and I’ve been happy. I think I’ve put roughly 60,000 on each set and would get an alignment with each new set. I also rotate every 10,000. I used to do every 5,000, but got lazy so just do them with each oil change.

I made this switch recently. No complaints.

I sold my F150 with Falken Wildpeak at3, and they still looked new with about 50k on them. My brother has the same F150 (it's a light truck with the 2.7), and I think he has 100k on his Falkens. And they're not bald yet.
