One of the better non conference schedules we've had in a while. Really like Creighton in the mid week. I guess the Biloxi midweek didn't work out again, or they're just okay with doing it in the fall.

Northeastern is a good one too, definitely better than last year

They've been one of my favorite smaller school teams to follow for a few years now. They have draft talent every year.

LSU always draws a cold weather SEC series in March.

No Arkansas? Hmmmm or did I miss it.

No SEC series begins on a Thursday except the last one where all the series begin on Thursday.

Maybe they've tried and opponents won't agree, but I've never understood why LSU doesn't play a better non-conf schedule. At least at home. Because of the amount of games played in a season the risk of a loss is not really that big like it is in, say football. Plus, you have a lot of northern teams (even in the Big 10 and ACC) NEEDING to play road games early in the season because of the weather. That seems like a good time to bring in an Iowa, Oregon, Michigan, or even a Louisville or Duke for at least one home series.
Yes, it's clearly not necessary for LSU to play a great non-conf schedule to win a national championship. But I think it could help grow the sport, overall, to see LSU vs. Michigan in baseball as opposed to an LSU v Dartmouth game.

Mizzou is hosting Auburn the first weekend of conference play.
It's horse shite. Mizzou should never open conference play at home. It's always shitty weather and the setting of their stadium makes it colder than even the surrounding area by 10-15 degrees.

I see that they were finally able to get Tulane back on the schedule.

I really like how Bertman would schedule at least 1 marquee non conference series.

I really wanted Texas to have to play at the Box this season.

Dang, not coming to Texas at all.

We gotta find a way to get Coastal Carolina on the schedule one day.
