Trust everyone is doing well after a 2-0 start.

Disclaimer - Texas Alum...still disappointed the game in BR was cancelled...would have been a great weekend.

I have been to a handful of games at Tiger Stadium but will be in Lafayette this weekend with my 11YO and we are going to drive over for the game.

His first game in BR and we won't have the full afternoon to tailgate, etc.

Does 2 hours before kick give us time to park, see Mike and get to our seats? Any other quick tips on parking/must do?

Yes we just took our 2 yo out these this weekend and 2 hours was plenty of time. We left the house at 4 and got to the Tailgate ~415- 430.

Traffic will be terrible 2 hours before kick off. Do you have a parking pass?

Not necessarily if you know what you’re doing

Not sure on parking pass, using family friends seats

We are on the East side so probably try to find somewhere to park on the North end (if possible)

Prepared for the worst once we get into BR, just curious if leaving LFT at 4:30 is doable or if I need to bump it to 3:30/4:00

I do this every weekend with my kids. Traffic is better since majority of people have arrived. If you know where to look there's parking available but easier bet is to get a parking pass.

Where do you park?

Without permit, where is everyone recommending parking these days? Parker collesium is usually the default. Curious if there's better spots

You will be in tons of traffic that late, and will probably miss the start of the game. You best leave Lafayette no later than 1:30pm especially if you want to see the band come down the hill.

Pay $50 and park north of the stadium on Nicholson dr and the traffic after the game will be no problem, you should be able to get to I10 in 15 to 20 mins. You park anywhere else, due to contraflow, and you may be in traffic for 3 or 4 hours after the game.

You can judge responses from last weeks game for this week. This is an SEC game so move up your arrival.

Paker will not be an option unless you are there by 10am, and even that may be iffy.

With no parking pass at 4pm, you'll be parking at the levee. I do not recommend paying to park in someones front yard north of campus

Not without a parking pass. And all the "nearby" free lots will be full. And likely all the pay lots as well. You will be parking a couple of miles from fhe stadium.

Your better option would be to park at Pastime and take the shuttle

Ironically an hour or so before kick you can find spots in there. They have a bunch of old guys that have tailgated there for years and they pack up and leave a little over an hour before the game so they can get home and watch

Leaving Laffy around 4:30 puts you at TS around 5:30 if no parking issues.

I'd recommend you leave around 3:00 if you want to park, see Mike, etc.

Victory Hill parade (were band, cheerleaders, and team come down the hill into the stadium) will be at 4:00. They all enter the stadium across from Mike the Tiger habitat so you'll be in same spot. I'd recommend you get there in time for that. Your son will likely enjoy it.

You can park by the Ag Building for Free and its a nice walk on campus.

Catch Mike and possibly some other festivities near the PMAC then head in.

LSU puts out the gameday itinerary the day before, so just be on the lookout for that and what you can catch

FLA game so things will be a little different, but they did lose soooooo....

May be a little thinner.

true, but thats too risky. If you cant find one, then you have to backtrack away from campus

I park by the dorms/east campus apts/REC center. Can get out to Stanford with the quickness.

ETA: OP, park here. You can get in an out at the I-10 S. Acadian exit.

Depends, if you want to watch the team and band walk down the hill that will probably happen around 4:10ish so you can go visit mike and stand there and watch the band and team come down the hill then after that go into the PMAC and watch the band perform and by that time you can go in the stadium and find your seats and get some food

I think so. Park in the levee lots by the rec fields so you can take river road downtown after the game, or by lod cook or the UREC to take government or S Acadian. Should be plenty of time to see Mike and head in
