Garage Gym Rack Brand Recommendations

Shopping for a rack for the garage and curious what y'alls experiences have been with different companies.
I was really curious about the Mikolo Cheetah Wall Mounted Rack, but saw some reviews about the gauge being thinner than advertised and not actually using steel.

Following. I am in the market as well. We just moved into a new office and a couple of us just purchased a 30-foot container to do a gym build out.

I have Titan X3. Build like a tank. Highly recommend.

I just got this squat rack off of FB marketplace. Its simple but all I was looking for. I went ahead and got the Rogue Ohio bar and the bumper plates as well. From what I have seen, Rogue holds value pretty well. So if you want to get rid of it you should be able to almost break even.
At least that is what I told my wife to justify the purchases

- Something south of $2,000
- Posts that are compatible with a lot of manufacturers accessories
- Smooth cable attachments with wide range of motion.
Probably a 6 posts or wall mounted for stability.

I've had a Titan X3 that I've absolutely beat the frick out of for 5 years now and it's still rock solid.

personally i would just go with rep then either 4000 or 5000. both will have plenty of options for add ons but 5000 will have more.
titan would be fine too. you just want a 3x3 and with 5/8" or 1" holes

Love my REP rack and bench. I just have the PR-1100 with the cable attachment and plate storage arms. Thinking of upgrading to the 5000 soon.

I use REP. I think their equipment is top notch. I have the rack with Athena add-on which makes it a functional trainer. I love it.

Thanks. Was just about settled on a REP wall mount with one Athena for $2,000. I like how much you can add on as you need to.

I have the Rogue RML-3WC 42" wall mount. It's great. Plenty of room and you can add lots of accessories. It also comes in a 21" and a 9"(wtf).

These do not get alot of pub but I have a Force USA G3. LINK
It's excellent. Super rock solid. Has a smith machine built in. Has two cables (they are 2:1 plate weighted). Having the cables really allows for a ton of variety. We have had it in our basement for 5 years and the thing has been reliable. Right at 2k.

I just ordered the Rogue RML-3WC in 21" w/ 108" bars b/c I wanted to hang w/o touching the ground or having to bend my knees. If I had the space I would have gone w/ the collegiate half rack instead of a folding rack.

I wish I had bought the 21" instead of the 42". The 21" folds closed on both sides. The 42" can only folds closed on one side. I make it work, but would rather have them closed flush to the wall.
I've never really needed the extra 21".
You will like the rack.

I have the Force USA G12. It is more than was the OP is looking to spend, but this is an incredible machine. It is very well built and a number of great attachments.

There's another thread on it, but I would also recommend the 4 x 6 horse stall mats from Tractor Supply to use under your rack for protecting the floor.
I assembled and installed mine by myself, but if you have a buddy that can help you it would be worth it.

When I installed my rack, I had to install the bottom arms of the rack higher than I wanted to compensate for some trim that runs down the wall.
I bought the spotter arms, but with the height of the bottom arms, I can really only use them when I squat. I can't get them low enough for bench press.
They are well built, though. I recommend.

I have had a rogue Rack for about 3 or 4 years. I love it. Easy set up as well if you have tools.
