LSU -6.5
O/U 54.5 pts

That O/U number is crazy. I see another 17-13 type game next week that we’ve played against Florida many times.

We put up a combined 40 pts so far through 2 games. Florida’s offense also only put up 55 against Long Island and 16 against USF. Based on the spread and O/U oddsmakers are expecting a 31-24 type game to LSU. No way after what I’ve seen so far am I confident we’ll put up that many points and our defense is stout enough, and Florida bad enough that they aren’t putting that much either. Just go 1-0 next week and I’m happy but anything more than 24 points and I’d be shocked

General rule of thumb is if you see a “fishy” line that you don’t understand, lean into it. In other words, they’re seeing something you aren’t so bet it.

You’re not smarter than the people in the desert, none of us (individually) are.

I wouldn't bet on any LSU game when it comes to points. Straight up W or L.... yes, pts NO.

This game is going to go 1 of 2 ways.

Either the offensive line and offensive coaching staff rise to the challenge and we blow Florida out 34-10

Or….

The don’t and we lose a low scoring defensive battle 10-6

Or we win a low scoring defensive battle, LSU's defense is better than Florida's

My gut says LaTech was the needed wake-up call after patting ourself on the back too much after Clemson.

LSU offense looks sharp and steamrolls Florida, sealing Napier’s fate.

Ramos is good for 3 FG's and our defense is good for a safety. That accounts for 11. If our CB Ashton Stamps learns how to catch he will get himself a pick 6. I can see us scoring 18-21. Florida might match this weeks total and score 16 again. I'll take the Under.

Normally I’d look at UF losing to USF and say we are going to slam them.

But that LaTech game was a disaster on a lot of levels.

The offense is midling to below average. No aspect of its production is even good. O-line is positioned perfectly...again...to disappoint.

I grabbed the line from ESPN Bet early this morning. Each books going to have slight variation with early movement. I would’ve been nervous betting us as 6.5 pt favorites though much less giving 9.5 pts… that’d be nice but don’t know what to expect from Florida next week. They might respond with their backs against the wall now. They want sun belt Billy’s head

La Tech is not better than Clemson.

LSU didn’t come to play, had multiple key injuries, and the Offense just isn’t what we thought it would be.

If their lines are way off seems like a great arbitrage opportunity. I use multiple books for that reason
