Drove in from Monroe for the Game, so like always I figured I go watch the GBFTL practice. So the Director and assistant Director of the Band walks up to me and says the practice is closed to the public now. Then he goes on and tells me that I need to delete the video that I took inside the Band Hall of one of the auxiliary units. Twice I gave money to help build that new facility, talk about a slap in the face! I remember how nice it was to go to practice and talk music with Roy King. What a Joke the the Tiger Band has become.

I’ve never heard of band practice being closed. It’s true that they are not what they once were.

Jeez what an arse. Why the hell is band practice closed to the public like it’s some secret when they’ve played the same exact songs for as long as I can remember?

So this was in Clemson?

Were there any signs saying no video allowed?

If no signs, then did you tell him to GFY?

Is there going to be something with a "Latino flair"?

Most of the practice should be outside so they can’t really stop you from watching that. Also I hope you told them to get bent and didn’t delete the videos

Maybe they have something big cooking and they didn’t want some band Homer to leak it.

That's lame to hear. Should've never let Moorhouse walk. Talley is a dork.

Weird that they were practicing inside on a Friday before the game

Need Rob Dowie to stop kissing arse and pull some weight. He's the only link to the Frank Wickes coaching tree left. One of the biggest issues with Tiger Band these days is there's no one at LSU who cares about its history.

That's the root of all their problems the last 15 years, but I actually thought the pep band at Clemson sounded surprisingly very good.

The problems start at the top with Damon Talley, but I've heard that Simon Holoweiko (Tiger Band director) is trying.

Maybe the band director is afraid fans will leave at halftime BEFORE the band performs…

Should have told him Bill Belichick sent you.
