I found this on a Sooner board. It worked for me, so I'm passing it along.
Seems there is an unadvertised discount available to existing YouTube TV customers.
$33 off the Base Plan subscription for October and November. The fee will revert back to normal after 2 months.
If you are interested in saving a few bucks, give it a try.
Deal Instructions:
Sign in and Go to your YouTube TV settings page in a web browser
Under membership > base plan: Click manage (to the right of $82.99)
Select Accounts: You should see an offer for two months at $49.99 per month
If you have the offer accept it. $33 discount will apply each month for 2 months.

Good grief. Id just pay for cable at this point. Cut the cord in 2009 and never looked back.

The area where I live does not have cable. When I moved here, the only option for TV was Dish or DirecTV.
DirecTV was costing me $250 / month.
We finally go AT&T Fiber in the neighborhood 2 years ago. I'm on the 1 Gbit plan. I dropped DTV and switched to YouTube. The Fiber / YouTube fee is a bargain compared to what I was paying for DTV.

Cable has gotten to the point where it is just as bad as the days when the phone company owned the telephone in your house and you had to rent the phone from them.
It is the same with cable. If you have more than 4 or 5 boxes in a house, your bill is probably 50 percent equipment that you pay for an eternity and have paid for the device 2 or 3 times over.
At a time you could bring your device like with TiVo but those days are ending, but you also had the cost of the guide service from TiVo and you had to pay a monthly fee for the Cablecard that enabled access to the cable channels. But as systems evolve, cablecards are no longer supported on some systems or cost as much as a box.

Why would you pay $50-75 more
For the same channels?

Why y'all paying for all these junk sites when you only need the Internet. You can find just about any show online for free and many times better quality than the paying sites. It's clear these subscription companies didn't give a frick about us citizens and do everything they can to extract as much money as possible from us. So screw them and find the free versions pretty easily. But you can't use Google as they done bent the knee. So use Yandex to search for the good stuff.

I think this is pretty standard for streaming live TV. We have Hulu live and my monthly bill is $82.99. I also get Disney & ESPN+ though.

youtube TV has the 3 local news stations on LIVE. If you do what you do you get Haystack news prerecorded types, not LIVE. if you have a tornado on the ground much less in the hills and mountains- LIVE local news is helpful.
the digital home antennas are good sometimes for the 3 local news stations.
