Looks like College Game Day will most likely be in Baton Rouge for LSU/Florida

Only other 2 ranked matchup games are:

#4Georgia at #22 Tenn
#19 A&M at #9 ND

I would think GameDay would pick #3 LSU vs #13 Florida

Also the spread for LSU/Florida was LSU -6.5 before last weekend and is now up to -8.5 on FanDuel. Spread is still -7 on DraftKings for anyone that wants to grab it before it moves up.

Possibly. They could also be looking ahead and try to save us and Florida for weekends later on. SC @ LSU should also be the biggest game on 10/11. Texas A&M @ LSU on 10/25 could also be the biggest game of that weekend.

Florida needs to get by USF first, but the game is obviously up there for top choice

ND lost

The only other possibility to me is UGA/TN, both have cupcakes this week

A lot will depend on which game is Fowler and Herbie calling on Sat
If UGA Tenn I can easily see gameday at Tenn
LSU will still have some matchups later that warrant gameday like South Carolina or Texas A&M

I think SEC Nation comes for LSU Florida

Gameday could still choose to go to Notre Dame as well because if Notre Dame loses that game their season is all but over

Notre Dame losing helps. ESPN & the networks loves the ratings it draws, especially when winning.

I think they may go to ND since it’s a rare matchup. This would be the 4th time that I can think of that they’ve been to LSU for a Florida game (1997, 2007, 2019).

Assuming Florida beats USF(-17.5 pt favorite), it will be the best matchup of the week. Top 15 teams

2009, but it's easy to forget that game outside of the pregame rumble at midfield.

Yeah, forgot about that one. It was a top 5 matchup.

A&M @ ND is on NBC, so I doubt they go there with two ABC/ESPN broadcasts available.

Georgia is probably a bigger national draw than LSU at the moment because of their recent success, and both them and Tenn. made the CFP last year. However, Gameday went to the UGA/Tenn game last year, so they may want to change it up. The only caveat is that this looks like the only game worth visiting Tenn for if they want to go there. LSU will probably have some opportunities later in the season.

Of course, if UF loses to USF, that will change the decision.

Impossible to say. I tend to agree with you but Aggies at Notre Dame is not something you will see every year so I could see them going there. I would be annoyed if they went to UGA vs Tenn.
