Chivalry seems to be dead to these young men nowadays and they are idiots

Went to lunch at the student athlete hall today with my wife. When we were leaving we were behind a group of three young men. As they were going through the exit door (which is all glass so you can see who is holding it) someone was holding it open for them. When my wife and I got to the door, it was a young girl that was keeping the door open for these men to walk through!!
I immediately went held the door open when I saw it was a girl to take the responsibility away from her and also to hold the door open for my wife. I asked the girl “Those guys just let you keep holding the door open for them?” She said “What can you do?”
The guys and girl did not know each other either as they went one way and she went another.
WTF? Seems chivalry is dead with these young men today. Who the hell raised them? Yankees?
And this girl was a cute fit student athlete. These guys are idiots!!! Not only should they have held the door open but it was a perfect opportunity to meet her. Dumbasses!!!
