Unfortunately, it doesnt matter as this will be quick.

They shut out Sela in week 1. But they only put up 24.

Got 5 wins last year. Lost to Arkansas pretty badly.

Even if they catch us looking ahead, im predicting a shutout or maybe they get a field goal.

Worth noting that while we do this, Florida is playing USF, which will actually be a tough test for them after what they did to Boise. They wont get to rest the starters, i guarantee it.

This team doesn't strike me as the type to "look ahead." If you can say anything about them, they're prepared.

7-0 after one 17-3 at halftime. 31-3 after three and backups finish it out 41-10. I don’t think lsu covers but they will win comfortably. Still have some things to iron out on offense and defense. Good game for tigers to work on deep ball and get the timing down.

Im only saying i know theyre probably pumped to get Florida at home.

Its also why im thinking shutout. This defense is going to want blood every game.

I am curious to see what USF can do against UF. I cant believe UF played Long Island University in their first game, good lord. They have barely even been an FCS team and its in one of the very weak FCS conferences

I think Tech QB got sacked a couple of times as well. Bayou Bandits about to eat.

I think it's the Northeast Conference. John Curtis could probably win that conference.

they dont even allow the full amount of FCS scholarships

To be fair to UF, they play USF, FSU and Miami OOC which I'm sure they are shitting their pants over considering what happened in the last week with all of those teams.

Will be very satisfying to beat Tech by sixty.

I have extended family there and they honestly believe Ruston is Mecca.

Run it up.

You are right. They have a difficult OOC especially the way it looks like FSU has turned it around with their new Italian QB. The UF game versus USF this weekend is really intriguing.

Still have some things to iron out on offense and defense

Do they? Week 1 @Clemson was the best defensive performance for LSU in years.

LSU has kept a P5 opponent to 10 or less points only 3 times in the past 6 seasons (2019-)

2024 vs Arkansas (34-10)
2022 vs Arkansas (13-10)
2019 vs A&M (50-7)

And a little trivia after digging some. Besides the 2022 Arkansas game, this is the first low scoring game that LSU has won in years.

2018 vs MS State (19-3) (<20 points)
2017 vs Florida (17-16) (17 or less)

Just want to come out injury free...we can't afford a rolled up ankle on the offensive line or for Caden to break a toe again playing someone we should be able to put away after two quarters. Zy Alexander tearing his acl on a end of the half interception return against Army comes to mind.

I doubt he plays much with UF coming up.

I would actually expect the team ready to play this week. I expect the offense to put up a lot of points as a "get right" air it out game. I would expect Nuss to put up like 250-300 yds through 2.5 Quarters and throw 4-5 touchdowns.

Defense going to continue to come to play and hit someone. Going to be an exciting football Saturday in Death Valley.

I agree with this. We not so quietly built a very experienced group. All of the transfers have played in big games and tough environments before landing at LSU. It showed against Clemson and will continue to show.
