Played a solid game but was surprised not to see Harlem Berry and Kaleb Jackson.

He’s our Swiss Army knife and knew his assignments. I expect the other guys to get some carries/opportunities next game. Ease them in.

Don’t forget Zavion. Him and Ju’juan will really help our offense splitting RB2

All this was by design. We were in enemy territory and they had a pretty nice crowd all night. Needed guys in there that knew what they were doing at all times. Also, like i called it before the season, I'm calling it after game one too. Caden Durham will be the #1 RB in the SEC.

Seems to be clear we’ve moved on from KJ.

I too was surprised by JJ being rb2.

Pleasantly surprised though.

Hopefully he gets back in some action and not a portal guy after the season.

Very impressive performance considering he didn’t play much last season and was going back and forth between positions.

RB2 JuJuan Johnson
Pod of Geauxld guys called this a couple weeks ago - said Kaleb was RB2 in name only and Ju'Juan would get more touches. Johnson looks like a legit RB plus a real threat as a receiver. Seems he's found his spot. Love it for him.

JJ has earned at least 5-8 touches a game. Jackson is not it and no need to rely on Barry yet when you’ve got a ton of other weapons.

I bet we see him throw a TD pass this season.

I'm looking forward to next week. Caden likely to be pulled early, should get to see a lot of JJ, Harlem, and Kaleb.

Why? He brings nothing to the table.

Yeah that’s the thing we JJ you have a legit gadget player can run , catch , throw . With him in the ball game the options are endless. LSU has some real mismatches. Would love to see something with treydez and JJ in the future

Really loved how we used Ju’Juan Johnson last night. Had some crucial first down pick ups late in the game on those quick dump offs to him and ran very well. Got up field, ran behind his pads, broke a few tackles and constantly fell forward. Basically an extension of the running game.

I wasn’t sure how physical he was considering he was a high school QB and split time WR and RB. But I am not worried about that at all moving forward.

His role will grow and he will be a key player for our team.

Also loved all the wrinkles we have on offense with guys like Ju’Juan, Zavion, and BB. Props to the staff for finding creative ways to get these playmakers the ball in good situations. Also makes preparing for our offense much more difficult.

Where do you think Jackson would go?

His main function is breaking the wedge on a kickoff so not a total waste of a scholarship.

Kaleb Jackson actually had a nice run on the first series that was called back due to a hold

He needs an entire red zone package where he lines up at QB

Not many rookies did take meaningful snaps. That should start this week, hopefully. JuJuan is a beast. He and Xavien Thomas are two of the biggest pleasant surprises.
