Well I stand corrected. I was wrong assuming this was nothing and LSU was aware. Unbelievable failure by LSU at all levels to not have clarity on an ejected player when they signed him.

I don’t know that I’d say it’s an “unbelievable failure” but yeah they probably could have done a little bit better of a job of looking into it before this week. But then again, I don’t know how all of these types of thing are tracked or how all that info is relayed.

I dont understand why there isn’t a decision. This should be a #1 priority thing. If you don’t hear just sit him out first half and play second since that is max punishment anyway

Agreed. LSU should just play whoever they want regardless of “NCAA Eligibility”
If any penalties are imposed just ignore them. If teams refuse to play, just claim victory all the way to an undefeated national championship.

Was the BYU player suspended for his next game?
Surely LSU knew that Haulcy as thrown out of his last game for throwing punches when they signed him. Surely LSU knew the rule about players being suspended for fighting and knew he may be suspended. And Clemson inquiring aside (if that’s what happened), surely someone on LSUs staff had to have checked his eligibility for this weeks game before Wednesday.

Let's get over it. Even if he sits a half, Toviano and Spears should have a good grasp on Baker's defense and the scheme for Clemson.
